St. Patrick’s Catholic Church
Catholic
Phone(402) 721-6611
St. Patrick’s Catholic Church exists to encounter Jesus by loving as commanded by Jesus Christ, serving as exemplified by Jesus Christ, and making disciples as commissioned by Jesus Christ.
Exploration of this area of the United States, after the Louisiana Purchase in 1801, ushered in a Catholic presence along the Platte River. County records show that the first land claims in Dodge County were filed in April, 1856, by the brothers, John and Arthur Bloomer, two Catholic men who set the stage for the practice of the Catholic faith in this area. There is evidence that, as people settled in this area, that by 1860, there was an active Catholic community in what is now Fremont, Nebraska.

Trinity Lutheran Church is a community of people in Fremont, Nebraska who love Jesus, God's Word, and each other. We take Jesus - his birth, his life, his teaching, his death and resurrection - more seriously than anything else. Our mission as a community is to lead people to follow Jesus and we desire that everything that directs and defines who we are is centered completely on Him.
We come together as the Church to worship Jesus corporately on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, and we continue to seek after Him throughout the week as we grow closer to God and each other. We also partner with several mission organizations both locally and globally to share the influence of Jesus on us in our local community and throughout the world.

Pastor Luiken has been pastoring since 1982. He and his family have been serving at Liberty Baptist Church since 1992. He and his wife, Wanda, have three children and six grandchildren. Pastor Luiken was saved as an 8 year old boy in his home in Minnesota. He surrendered to preach the gospel as a 19 year old. After Bible College and Seminary he and his wife have been serving faithfully ever since then. Their ministry in Fremont is multi-faceted. There is the Heartland Christian School housed in the facility of LBC. Every summer there is a teen mission trip along with other outreach ministries. During the year the church hosts The All-Nighter, a teen activity which many surrounding churches attend. It is their privilege to serve in Nebraska, “the good life.”
